Matthew A. Perkins

Mr. Perkins has over ten years of legal experience in various areas of the law. Born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina, he attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina and obtained his law degree from the Charleston School of Law.  After moving back to Anderson in 2009, Mr. Perkins worked for the Tenth Circuit Public Defender’s Office before opening the Law Office of Matthew A. Perkins where he focused on Family Law, Criminal Law and Personal Injury cases.  Mr. Perkins merged his practice with the law firm of Epps, Nelson and Epps in 2014 and became a partner there in 2015, creating the law firm of Epps, Nelson, Epps and Perkins. At the beginning of 2019, Mr. Perkins joined Mr. Bradley to create the law firm of Bradley & Perkins.  

Mr. Perkins strives to provide clients with knowledgeable legal advice and is firmly committed to supporting his clients and community.  He handles a vast array of cases in Family Court including divorces, custody disputes, child support, and adoptions.  He has represented clients in personal injury actions including auto accidents, dog bites, slip and falls, and medical malpractice.  He provides experienced legal service in serious criminal matters and DUI cases. Mr. Perkins is also the City Attorney for the City of Belton, South Carolina. 

Mr. Perkins and his wife, Ashlee have three boys, Jayden, Grady and Clyde and live on his family’s land, where he grew up.  He and his family attend Central Presbyterian Church and NewSpring Church. He is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling with his family.
